After a rather tough play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Damian Gumaro got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Luz in the 12th minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Elvio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnaldo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Albano Francho got a free kick in the 31st minute. Lino Castel kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Elvio Niva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Luz. In the 38th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Soares to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Niva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Silvestre Veronica hit a great ball. Carmelo Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Elvio Niva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Luz in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Fernando Luz was the one to do the kick off. Elvio Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Luz in the 51st minute of play. Elvio Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Baristo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, Merusca F&P's Carlos Fernando Luz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Niva was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, one of Merusca F&P:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merusca F&P. Elvio Niva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Elvio Niva came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P's Carlos Fernando Luz. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Merusca F&P's Vânderson de Almeida was substituted for Tales Soares. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Ian Salles replaced Edmílson Vidal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Salles in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Niva saved Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ from getting behind. If Lino Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Albano Francho hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Salles came free, but Elvio Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Gaspar lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Merusca F&P:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ. Bruno Baristo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Agnaldo Tinoco. 4-2. Merusca F&P's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
