The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Cristo Eufemio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moriste en el balotaje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ the free kick. In the 8th minute, Dionisio Inko had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Honorio Beturian hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ booed when Moriste en el balotaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Ledesma, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arnoldo Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Galo having to interfere. Esteve Tibalt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Anibal Rencio made a huge save. A collision led to Moriste en el balotaje getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Esteve Tibalt hit a great ball. Honorio Beturian scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Galo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Raphael in the 37th minute of play forced Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's goalkeeper Anibal Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moriste en el balotaje's goalkeeper Leonardo Galo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Moriste en el balotaje's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Bernal came free, but Leonardo Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Raphael was the one to do the kick off. Anibal Rencio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Moriste en el balotaje's Hilario Raphael. But to his dismay, Hilario Raphael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Hilario Raphael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Rencio. Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Raphael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 72 minutes into the match, Hilario Raphael notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Anibal Rencio. Anibal Rencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorio Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Evaristo Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Soter. In the 88th minute Anacleto Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arnoldo Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Pedroso couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Honorio Beturian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoldo Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
