Maxime Caes started the match with the kick off. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Streels, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Maxime Caes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Streels, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Liviu Dima might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diederiek Gijselinckx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Dima ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Maxime Caes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Ferdinand Ivașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diederiek Gijselinckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Johny Kindts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Schoonwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sorin Marian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Diederiek Gijselinckx made a huge save. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Neaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Maxime Caes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. GoooooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxime Caes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Molodețiu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diederiek Gijselinckx saved KV Schoonwater from getting behind. KV Schoonwater's Diederiek Gijselinckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save KV Schoonwater from getting a goal against them. If Marcel Molodețiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Ivo Streels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liviu Dima hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Ivo Streels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Molodețiu to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Marcel Molodețiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoooooL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Molodețiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivo Streels showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. A collision led to GoooooL getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gavril Nicea hit a great ball. 0-5 became the score in the 61st minute when Ivo Streels elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Maxime Caes notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Ivo Streels. But to his dismay, Ivo Streels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Maxime Caes sent off a good shot on target. Diederiek Gijselinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Dima in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Maxime Caes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Mark Van Herendael replaced Armand Hemeleers. In the 92nd minute, Maxime Caes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diederiek Gijselinckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Molodețiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Leonard Cluceru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Gijselinckx having to interfere.
