Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Klaus Mogg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radoslaw Miarka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcello Karger got free with Radoslaw Miarka in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Henrik Reifer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Reifer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslaw Miarka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Astral's zone, Marcello Karger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Miarka came out of the goal and Marcello Karger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Cymbal came free, but Rasmus Gölz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astral were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Sydney FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kazimierz Karanowski took the corner. Radoslaw Miarka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcello Karger's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Zbigniew Cymbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbigniew Cymbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 27 minutes on the clock, Don Küttner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rasmus Gölz had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Kazimierz Karanowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Karanowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sydney FC's Rasmus Gölz. Rasmus Gölz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Klaus Mogg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Miarka having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Kosiorek came free, but Rasmus Gölz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Klaus Mogg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus Mogg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslaw Miarka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klaus Mogg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Henrik Reifer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasmus Gölz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Rydz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Reifer made a kick off. Klaus Mogg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Radoslaw Miarka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Reifer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Miarka having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Astral's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Reifer came free, but Radoslaw Miarka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Clemens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Radoslaw Miarka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Klaus Mogg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Miarka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcello Karger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Miarka having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Astral's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Mogg came free, but Radoslaw Miarka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney FC's Henrik Reifer got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Sydney FC were the better team. Sydney FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
