Inocencio Gimenez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in O rey Iván fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Gutenberg's Miguel Silvino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ramiro Romelio. After 11 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Palben. Braulio Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Romelio having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ramiro Romelio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 26th minute, Arnulfo Palben got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, O rey Iván was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Romero to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Tomas Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Romelio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Braulio Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, O rey Iván was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Gonzales in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Romelio saved O rey Iván from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Desiderio Gonzales to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Etxekopar came free, but Ramiro Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Amador Aragones. In the 58th minute of the match Miguel Silvino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Romelio skillfully saved the ball. Inocencio Gimenez was a little too slow when Arnulfo Palben got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 65th minute Desiderio Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Palben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Txordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Miguel Silvino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Romelio skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Prudencio Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gutenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Romo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Teodoro Maura fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O rey Iván's protests and gave Teodoro Maura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Teodoro Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Eduardo Oton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Romelio skillfully saved the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Gutenberg's Prudencio Romo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. O rey Iván walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
