Cordarrol Chamochin started the match with the kick off. Demesio Verdeja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordarrol Chamochin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Herminio Afonso made a huge save. Nacional's Demesio Verdeja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Clodio in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Nacional's Marcelo Obana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herminio Afonso. Herminio Afonso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Herminio Afonso made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Emanuel Bañuelos sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Cordarrol Chamochin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herminio Afonso, 2-0. Demesio Verdeja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Sotero in the 19th minute of the match. Emanuel Bañuelos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. EL PEPO FC's Herminio Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save EL PEPO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Bañuelos made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Afonso. EL PEPO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 34 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Biñuela. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Samuel Sotero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demesio Verdeja came out of the goal and Samuel Sotero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Saturnino Vizcaino hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Clodio in the 54th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Demesio Verdeja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Demesio Verdeja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Clodio. Herminio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Vizcaino in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Gabriel Biñuela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Afonso. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Afonso should have stopped the shot. EL PEPO FC's Mariano Noe was substituted for Samuel Sotero. Nacional's Demesio Verdeja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Clodio in the 74th minute of play. Maximo Bide hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rafael Clodio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Demesio Verdeja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL PEPO FC. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Cordarrol Chamochin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Afonso. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Afonso should have stopped the shot. Nacional were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
