A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Sigmunds Sarkovics with Rinalds Brencsons as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 10th match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Baptista. In the 14th minute Rinalds Brencsons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S O B E R A N O CIMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fred Pombal hit a great ball. The supporters of GAUJA booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adilson Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frīdis Smukais in the 23rd minute of the match. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Rinalds Brencsons scored to the left of an out of position Adilson Monteiro, making the score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Fred Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frīdis Smukais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Monteiro having to interfere. In the 30th minute Rinalds Brencsons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adilson Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frīdis Smukais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adilson Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frīdis Smukais in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Rinalds Brencsons dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adilson Monteiro, 2-0. Adilson Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigmunds Sarkovics, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Adilson Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigmunds Teikmanis in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Rinalds Brencsons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Adilson Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adilson Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rinalds Brencsons in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Adilson Monteiro came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by GAUJA's Herberts Mendziņš. But to his dismay, Herberts Mendziņš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberts Mendziņš in the 57th minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Adilson Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Cerezo came free, but Brencis Dermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Aldis Liestiņš left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAUJA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Adilson Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigmunds Sarkovics in the 64th minute of the match. Adilson Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frīdis Smukais in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, GAUJA's Rinalds Brencsons nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adilson Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 72 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when GAUJA's Herberts Mendziņš fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Herberts Mendziņš made a precise shot to the right of Adilson Monteiro. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Adilson Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberts Mendziņš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Rinalds Brencsons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adilson Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rinalds Brencsons, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Adilson Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigmunds Sarkovics in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Rinalds Brencsons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAUJA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GAUJA had played much better football throughout.
