Dimitris Venetis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stratos Savouras 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Alekos Bakalakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Paiva. Stratos Savouras kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Naldo Costa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Alekos Bakalakos sent off a good shot on target. Naldo Costa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dimitris Venetis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Savouras in the 25th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Naldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michalis Pergaminos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Venetis got free with Naldo Costa in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murilo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Michalis Pergaminos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Dimitris Venetis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Naldo Costa. The goal made the score 3-0. Anestis Magas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omiros Chelioudakis in the 45th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Naldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Savouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Savouras in the 48th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Naldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Flavinho Paranaense made the kick off in the second half. Stratos Savouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Costa having to interfere. Curiphila Eagles's Naldo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omiros Chelioudakis in the 54th minute of play. Stratos Savouras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stratos Savouras might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stratos Savouras ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 minutes, Omiros Chelioudakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazellatin F.C. and the Curiphila Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Bazellatin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Chelioudakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Venetis came free, but Naldo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Bazellatin F.C.'s Dimitris Venetis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 88th minute, Dimitris Venetis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazellatin F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
