In the 9th match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Chian to maneuver through the defense. Steven Wenyong might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Berdoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Wenyong ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Berdoi was a little too slow when Hafriz Hock got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Halcones Azules's Vicente Berdoi got control of the ball when Hafriz Hock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hafriz Hock in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Berdoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esteban Totakoxe kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Adrian Sauveur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halcones Azules's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFH Family United the free kick. The supporters of NFH Family United booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Wenyong came free, but Vicente Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hafriz Hock came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the NFH Family United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafriz Hock couldn't finish the play. Steven Wenyong might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Berdoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steven Wenyong ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hafriz Hock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alam Rajah hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Abajas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Abajas to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Steven Wenyong notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Halcones Azules's Vicente Berdoi. Vicente Berdoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafriz Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Danish Ching was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, NFH Family United's Hafriz Hock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Berdoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Steven Wenyong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Wenyong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Berdoi having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goalkeeper Shahron Lum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Rito.
