Francana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dexter Morgan VR46:s goal. A.A. Francana's Sandrinho Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Mitchell in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Armando Orlando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Francana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Orlando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Amedeo Melis came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Dexter Morgan VR46 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Melis couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Ciro Buonanno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Amedeo Melis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dexter Morgan VR46's Amedeo Melis in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A. In the 26th minute of the match, Ruy Fantini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beppe Pozzo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sandrinho Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Kiko Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pete Mitchell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandrinho Veiga. A.A. Francana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute, João Adolfo Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ciro Buonanno put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sandrinho Veiga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean de Barros got free with Beppe Pozzo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandrinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Buonanno in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Melis made a kick off. Ciro Buonanno in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sandrinho Veiga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Melis in the 57th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Sandrinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Dexter Morgan VR46's Amedeo Melis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandrinho Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Buonanno got free with Sandrinho Veiga in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Adolfo Leite took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Pozzo. Beppe Pozzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 75 minutes A.A. Francana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pete Mitchell who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Pete Mitchell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sandrinho Veiga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Flavio Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean de Barros in the 81st minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Pozzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean de Barros in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Brandolini to maneuver through the defense. Dexter Morgan VR46's Beppe Pozzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean de Barros in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean de Barros in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beppe Pozzo saved Dexter Morgan VR46 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean de Barros in the 88th minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Amedeo Melis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandrinho Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The Dexter Morgan VR46 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
