The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Natalucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthias Stephansson struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Cosimo Giusti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for United 11 FC. Alberigo Muzi charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberigo Muzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17thth minute of the game Dario Fabrizio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but United 11 FC's Östen Carlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthias Stephansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosimo Giusti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Strömbom in the 30th minute of the match. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Matthias Stephansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosimo Giusti. GiaSiRo 08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Stephansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 43 minutes, Frank Coletti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GiaSiRo 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Coletti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörgen Strömbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosimo Giusti having to make a save. After 47 played minutes United 11 FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Rang. Frank Coletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half United 11 FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Strömbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Strömbom during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Jörgen Strömbom was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. The supporters of GiaSiRo 08 booed when United 11 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Frank Coletti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Östen Carlsson. United 11 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Coletti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Filip Månsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Östen Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Natalucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
