With his leg Emiliano Marques managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when F.C.BARLAD's Octav Ţintea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emiliano Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Frățilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Casomiro in the 43rd minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Sebastian Manafu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebiu Frățilă was the one to do the kick off.
