The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingmar Haström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aron Vikström. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 15 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Hans Norberg. 19 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Wenerdahl came free, but Aron Vikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Vikström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick Danielsson in the 21st minute. Karlsborg's Aron Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Haström in the 23rd minute of play. Aron Vikström was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Ingmar Haström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingmar Haström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 27th minute, Hans Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Wenerdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Torsten Markusson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karlsborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HEDONISM U18 the free kick. After a rather tough play, HEDONISM U18's Bengt-Arne Apelquist got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to HEDONISM U18 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ingmar Haström hit a great ball. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when HEDONISM U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Rudqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Nick Danielsson was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 73 played minutes HEDONISM U18 got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Mellin. In the 83rd minute, Ulrik Wenerdahl made a precise shot to the right of Aron Vikström. Karlsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 88 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Wenerdahl came free, but Aron Vikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Karlsborg's zone, Tommy Bure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Vikström came out of the goal and Tommy Bure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, HEDONISM U18's Ulrik Wenerdahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Vikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. HEDONISM U18's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
