Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Maicon de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvaldo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Simão in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Antunes. In the 5th minute, Hélder Simão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilian Antunes during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilian Antunes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Jovens Democratas MZC defense, Hélder Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvaldo Costa. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvaldo Costa should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Simão came free, but Edvaldo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Chris Slade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Antunes. Jovens Democratas MZC's Edvaldo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Simão in the 19th minute of play. Vinnie Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinnie Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vinnie Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Chris Slade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilian Antunes in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Simão in the 31st minute of play. Edvaldo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Baiano in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Maicon de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Slade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Hélder Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ogro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Ogro F.C.'s Vinnie Paul shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvaldo Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ogro F.C. reached it. After the first half Ogro F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélder Simão to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Ogro F.C. defense, Wilian Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chris Slade. The Ogro F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chris Slade should have stopped the shot. Chris Slade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Zé Augusto Tinoco hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Chris Slade came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Maicon de Amorim. But to his dismay, Maicon de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 74th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Santana to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Costa made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ulisses Simão sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Antunes in the 84th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Chris Slade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ogro F.C.'s Chris Slade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon de Amorim in the 92nd minute of play.
