The tension between the Joinville United - FSCMZ and the De Kasteelheren players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Joinville United - FSCMZ defense, Pieter-Jan Staarman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Araújo. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Araújo should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Pieter-Jan Staarman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Kasteelheren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Claudinho Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter-Jan Staarman in the 31st minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. When Waldir Dias fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joinville United - FSCMZ's protests and gave Waldir Dias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Pieter-Jan Staarman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudinho Araújo. De Kasteelheren's Emil Walstra shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claudinho Araújo but with some difficulty. Luan de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Joinville United - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching De Kasteelheren's performance. The match ended with a win for De Kasteelheren.
