The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when Dacians Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Bărăian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Ovidiu Cerghizan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Claudiu Tâlvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Ponor in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mansour Al Ramzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Tâlvescu in the 28th minute of play forced Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Mansour Al Ramzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Claudiu Tâlvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalefa Al Homaithe scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelian Cezariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Faris Al Shati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Cezariu having to interfere. Stelian Cezariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Al Hajraf in the 41st minute. Dacians Academy's Stelian Cezariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fared Al Adsani in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fared Al Adsani was the one to do the kick off. Mansour Al Ramzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Cerghizan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Ponor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mansour Al Ramzi made a huge save. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ali Al Hajraf hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudiu Tâlvescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mansour Al Ramzi. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Tâlvescu came free, but Mansour Al Ramzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dacians Academy's Emanuel Miu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Mansour Al Ramzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Cerghizan in the 70th minute of the match. Stelian Cezariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Al Hajraf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Oltean came free, but Mansour Al Ramzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mansour Al Ramzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Oltean in the 82nd minute of the match. Golden Tigers's Bandar Al Amer suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Radu Scutaru charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Scutaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Golden Tigers's Mansour Al Ramzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Ponor in the 93rd minute of play. The Dacians Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
