After 2 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Dylon Sands. 3 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Arhenius came free, but Edward Preston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pete Partridge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sigvard Näfver. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After 11 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Blueman. Jonas Hybbert scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edward Preston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Karl Arhenius made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Preston was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Preston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Arhenius in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Niclas Hermansson hit a great ball. Mark Isaksson charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Isaksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Egg Chasers FC's corner Don Major fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sigvard Näfver quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute, Lars-Erik Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Don Major shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigvard Näfver showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Pete Partridge came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Partridge couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After 56 minutes, Niclas Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundborn IF and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billie Curtis to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes, Sundborn IF's Sebastian Göransson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edward Preston came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundborn IF reached it. 77 minutes into the game, Billie Curtis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egg Chasers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundborn IF the free kick. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Billie Curtis hit a great ball. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Egg Chasers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sundborn IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Sundborn IF.
