Thanos Katsafanas was slow to take the kick. During this time GREEN LIONS's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to GREEN LIONS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Andreas Seremetiadis hit a great ball. When Lars-Erik Olsson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Lars-Erik Olsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Berglund to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Katsafanas came free, but Sigvard Näfver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Näfver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Siozos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Okkas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Sebastian Göransson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GREEN LIONS's Panos Okkas did a great save. In the 37th minute Karl Arhenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Okkas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GREEN LIONS's Panos Okkas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Fristedt in the 39th minute of play. Johan Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Okkas having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aimilios Siozos to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Seremetiadis got free with Sigvard Näfver in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Tachmatzidis in the 54th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Näfver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Theofilos Tassatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sundborn IF's Sigvard Näfver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimilios Siozos in the 60th minute of play. Panos Okkas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Arhenius in the 61st minute of the match. Sigvard Näfver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Liras in the 64th minute of play. If Johan Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigvard Näfver made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Aimilios Siozos sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Lars-Erik Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Näfver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Seremetiadis in the 73rd minute. GREEN LIONS's Panos Okkas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Arhenius in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
