Honorato Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez Pelaci in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Azul Y Plomo's Rogerio Arcos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Abeitia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Xavion Foronda kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Don Malbec's Roque Ariando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Camilo Renedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Martxot's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Honorato Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogerio Arcos in the 27th minute of the match. Alex Macías took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Abeitia. Honorato Abeitia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Felix Aguirol got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Zeledon Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Alex Macías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Abeitia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martinez Pelaci went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zeledon Martxot made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Zeledon Martxot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Don Malbec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul Y Plomo the free kick. After 51 played minutes Don Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Martxot. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Rogerio Arcos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Camilo Renedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Tono in the 53rd minute of play. Camilo Renedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Eriberto Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Abalos scored 1-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Renedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Azul Y Plomo's Camilo Renedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Tono in the 69th minute of play. With 71 minutes on the clock, Roque Ariando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Don Malbec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Abalos came free, but Camilo Renedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Azul Y Plomo got a freekick which was hit by Zarando Sotillo. Eriberto Tono struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Camilo Renedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Malbec. Don Malbec's Eriberto Tono got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Renedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Azul Y Plomo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
