The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Padovani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wayne Camenzuli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Nunes in the 21st minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Wayne Camenzuli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The tension between the SeleSantos FC and the Attard Gunners players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lawrence De Marco made a kick off. Sean Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Roberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence De Marco in the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lawrence De Marco in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Oliveira saved SeleSantos FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ryan Padovani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Attard Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Padovani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Attard Gunners players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
