The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Curcă got free with Niceto Honrio in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Măliță in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Roderigo in the 12th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Florin Pruneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gică Curcă made a kick off. Lucas Toribio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eric Apostu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Leo Matei got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Eric Apostu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Honrio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Cecilio Erramun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florin Pruneda. The goal made the score 3-1. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Zacarias Ellande was substituted for Adolfo Eyague. In the 69th minute Eliseo Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Pruneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Leontin Comăneci put in a rough tackle. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Marcelino Nastasio was substituted for Victorino Frederico. One of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Fanaticii:s goal. Niceto Honrio had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Eric Apostu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lucas Toribio charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Toribio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Toribio. FC Fanaticii's Moise Corduneanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Honrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. FC Fanaticii were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. for a fine match.
