Roland Lisewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aris Voutsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute, Takis Saltamaras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Lisewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Aris Voutsas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Lisewski was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Leonard Podolski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Makis Tselementes. Leonard Podolski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Makis Tselementes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of FC Wypyszek booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermis Chatzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Wypyszek's Jan Koczara got a free kick in the 25th minute. FC Wypyszek's Roland Lisewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Sarantakos in the 26th minute of play. Makis Tselementes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Podolski went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC Wypyszek defense, Christos Sarantakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Lisewski. The FC Wypyszek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Lisewski should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Leonard Podolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Makis Tselementes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Ermis Chatzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Aris Voutsas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Lisewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, FC Wypyszek's Bernard Cwojdak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernard Cwojdak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Wypyszek protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernard Cwojdak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 played minutes FC Wypyszek got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Cwojdak. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Podolski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Panos Nikologiannis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Wolczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Thomas Papagiotopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΑΟΚ FC and the FC Wypyszek players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Papagiotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Jacek Wolczewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Makis Tselementes having to make a save. With a little luck, FC Wypyszek's Roland Lisewski got control of the ball when Aris Voutsas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Florian Cwynar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wypyszek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΑΟΚ FC the free kick. Florian Cwynar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Ermis Chatzis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute, Ermis Chatzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Jacek Wolczewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Wypyszek had won after a very even match.
