Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nomads Football Club's Bert Justens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofilo Amato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Birila's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Teofilo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Birila in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Nomads Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Birila came free, but Teofilo Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Gustavo Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Russ Mora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ezequiel Azeari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holger Dennon scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Azeari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nomads Football Club's Teofilo Amato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Hipolito Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papillon AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Dennon in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Freddy Fagondo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Papillon AC's zone, Bert Justens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Azeari came out of the goal and Bert Justens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gustavo Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Sergio Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nomads Football Club's goalkeeper Teofilo Amato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute Gustavo Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Birila to make the kick off. Teofilo Amato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Birila's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute of the match Papillon AC got a corner. Nomads Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Birila ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Justens in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Azeari saved Papillon AC from getting behind. A hard shot 60 in the game by Gustavo Birila from a close distance when the talented Teofilo Amato managed to make a qualified save. Nomads Football Club's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Papillon AC defense, Holger Dennon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Azeari. The Papillon AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Azeari should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute of the match, Hipolito Johans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teofilo Amato saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Nomads Football Club's Teofilo Amato got control of the ball when Gustavo Birila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Birila in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teofilo Amato, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hipolito Johans hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Johans. Nomads Football Club's Johannes Söderkvist was substituted for Claudio Quiroga. In the 84th match minute, Nomads Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Dennon to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Justens in the 87th minute of play.
