In the 5th minute, Iago Bala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Štefan Semeno. The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Štefan Semeno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Iago Bala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iago Bala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, America Futebol Clube SP's Dreas Jamieson got a free kick in the 12th minute. Tomáš Požgaj took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Rasiak. Stefan Rasiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Iago Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Seno charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Seno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomáš Požgaj made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Tomáš Požgaj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomáš Požgaj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Jeronimo Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. America Futebol Clube SP's attentive Laércio Amorim managed to snatch the ball when Viktor Seno made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. America Futebol Clube SP's Laércio Amorim managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Viktor Seno in the 74 minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Seno to maneuver through the defense. In the 77thth minute of the game Jeronimo Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Pekarík in the 80th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Požgaj. In the 84th match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miko Lehkosuo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Igor Bališ hit a great ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Jeronimo Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Štefan Semeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Rico went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tomáš Požgaj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Stefan Rasiak made a huge save.
