An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 10th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia 1903 were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after C. A. Potrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harald Ek took the corner. The corner led Academia 1903's Rafael Jaume to fire away a dangerous shot which Emil Arendarski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Ezkerra. Hélio Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Timoteo Columbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C. A. Potrero's Wladyslaw Popowicz was substituted for Mauro Silvino. The goalkeeper, Emil Arendarski, was totally fooled by Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karol Borowski made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Timoteo Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Rafael Jaume got a free kick in the 56th minute. It was Gérard Magyar who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gérard Magyar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski did a great save. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicanor Morenø scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Arendarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Morenø in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Arendarski saved C. A. Potrero from getting behind. In the 78th minute Lucien de Neutere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Faron hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Natalio Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Nicanor Morenø notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski. Emil Arendarski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicanor Morenø might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Arendarski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Morenø ran back to his position shaking his head. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Morenø in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Natalio Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo Santos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Gérard Magyar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Arendarski. C. A. Potrero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gérard Magyar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Academia 1903's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
