When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Daron Keen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tristan Franquis. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernan Erus took the corner. The corner led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Feng Chuan Liang getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Keen came free, but Tristan Franquis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Keen in the 28th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ben Breton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ben Breton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Breton in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tristan Franquis made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Antony Ferrant sent off a good shot on target. If Ben Breton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberino Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tristan Franquis made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Antony Ferrant sent off a good shot on target. Anastasios Machlas scored 4-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
