Roni Coryn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Armani having to interfere. Fernando Grover took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Dauwen. Leo Dauwen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bernabe Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roni Coryn. The supporters of MARTINETA booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert-Jan Tuytgans didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernando Grover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Geert-Jan Tuytgans in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MARTINETA's Lv Qiang Xiao. Fernando Grover's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Dauwen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bacardi FC's goalie and right to Nacho Roca. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bacardi FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Grover to make the kick off. Fernando Grover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Grover in the 55th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MARTINETA's Bernabe Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roni Coryn in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bernabe Armani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match Bacardi FC got a corner. MARTINETA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boruc Wykowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Roni Coryn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Armani was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Fernando Grover ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Dauwen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. MARTINETA made a substitution. Carlos Cesaro replaced Fernando Grover. MARTINETA's Nunez Berasko was substituted for Albino Eliu. Bacardi FC's Michiel Montens was substituted for Geert-Jan Tuytgans. The corner ended in Nacho Roca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen did a great save. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen got control of the ball when Carlos Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Carlos Cesaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Dauwen. Carlos Cesaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 96th minute, Falko Schlender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes, MARTINETA's Lv Qiang Xiao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Dauwen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MARTINETA reached it.
