After 12 played minutes Ernesto Guevara SyD got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Errolan. If Dirar Rashid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th match minute, Líbano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yousri Akram to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes Ernesto Guevara SyD got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Hernandez. 23 minutes into the match, Líbano's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tirso came free, but Falah Waddah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Bernat got free with Falah Waddah in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Dirar Rashid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Líbano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ernesto Guevara SyD the free kick. After 27 played minutes Líbano got a freekick which was hit by Dirar Rashid. Salvador Gorosti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akram Munahid in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Almada in the 45th minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Falah Waddah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dirar Rashid made a kick off. Salvador Gorosti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirar Rashid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falah Waddah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Beto Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falah Waddah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Gorosti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bashar Al Azra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Líbano's Dirar Rashid got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Bashar Al Azra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Líbano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Ernesto Guevara SyD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Líbano:s goal. Falah Waddah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lionel Richie went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Líbano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
