In the 11thth minute of the game Jakub Swierczok who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, one of Santa Maradona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santa Maradona. Jonathan Errapel had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Andžs Redzobs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Larry Houben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Santa Maradona's Valdis Felbergs threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Transito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Errapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andžs Redzobs who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Errapel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Santa Maradona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Black horses.
