Albi Martínez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Aquilino Felo made a huge save. In the 25th minute of the game, Albi Martínez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Monsanto during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. City Friseur Wuppertal made a substitution. Nebi Tokyürek replaced Albi Martínez. In the 26th match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Monsanto to maneuver through the defense. With a left leg Aquilino Felo saved Pau Nas Canelas from getting behind. After the first half Pau Nas Canelas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Ryback to make the kick off. Xu Yi Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Nascimento in the 57th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Felo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Waldemar Ryback put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Aquilino Felo. 90 minutes into the game, Nebi Tokyürek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Aquilino Felo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nebi Tokyürek in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
