In the 19th minute Balthasar Ostenborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Karsten Randholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efren Reina in the 26th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estudiantes de América's Maximo Dei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesús Incendio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kraig Fred got free with Jesús Incendio in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesús Incendio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kraig Fred in the 34th minute. Kraig Fred received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jesús Incendio came out and tried to block the shot, but Kraig Fred slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Reina in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kraig Fred could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Jesús Incendio however easily saved by the left post. In the 45th minute, Karl Van Der Veecken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Aleksander Jazwiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vestegnens Betonhelte getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aleksander Jazwiec hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efren Reina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Vestegnens Betonhelte were awarded a corner. Aleksander Jazwiec went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcos Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Karsten Randholt sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesús Incendio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vestegnens Betonhelte's zone, Kraig Fred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesús Incendio came out of the goal and Kraig Fred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Jesús Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 74th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Dei in the 76th minute. Karl Van Der Veecken made a great header on Estudiantes de América's corner, it was just that Vestegnens Betonhelte's Jesús Incendio managed to reach the ball for a save. 80 minutes into the game, Concetto Trasatti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jesús Incendio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Dei hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Jesús Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Blăniță in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Diego Simeone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janich Hvalsøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesús Incendio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Estudiantes de América were victorious despite being under pressure from Vestegnens Betonhelte for much of the match.
