Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Teodoro Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Jumeuc Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Edward Krzynowek kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Teodoro Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Severino in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that João Severino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Ferraz was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Edward Krzynowek in the 17th minute really tested Teodoro Ferraz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeuc Futebol Clube's zone, Edward Krzynowek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Ferraz came out of the goal and Edward Krzynowek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute João Severino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jumeuc Futebol Clube defense, Virgílio Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Ferraz. The Jumeuc Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Ferraz should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Perez got free with Teodoro Ferraz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Perez in the 36th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Teodoro Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Virgílio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scarlet Speedster's Váldson Bittencourt was substituted for João Severino. From close distance Fausto Mendonça pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 45 minutes into the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Mendonça came free, but Teodoro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeuc Futebol Clube's zone, Fausto Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Ferraz came out of the goal and Fausto Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute of the match Jens-Ove Eriksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Ferraz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Mendonça in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64thth minute of the game Fausto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Teodoro Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Correia made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adelino Saldanha however managed to control. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Teodoro Ferraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 77 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Mendonça came free, but Teodoro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jens-Ove Eriksson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. Scarlet Speedster:s Naldo Proença showed great skill when he stopped Samuel Melo:s penalty. Teodoro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 90th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Teodoro Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Fausto Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Scarlet Speedster players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
