FC ciufulici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Getafe Deportivo the free kick. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Víctor Feal replaced Orlo Sarrate. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curcio Carballeira in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dacian Oravițan saved FC ciufulici from getting behind. Horia Robescu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vlad Ţăranu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Oravițan having to interfere. Curcio Carballeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Oravițan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Curcio Carballeira ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edgar Vlas hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curcio Carballeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC ciufulici's Horia Robescu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 62nd match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Joita to maneuver through the defense. Horia Robescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Anton Lopatnicu replaced Vlad Ţăranu. After 66 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by Horia Robescu. Dacian Oravițan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curcio Carballeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Víctor Feal got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Club Getafe Deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Feal. Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Giurcă in the 82nd minute of the match. Jairo Castellano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toader Ghișe in the 83rd minute.
