An unexpectedly hard shot by Moreno Martins in the 2nd minute of play forced White StarZ's goalkeeper Gonçalo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Kensicki kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Fausto Bertol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Berceanu in the 14th minute of play. Herkko Viitaluoma made a great header on White StarZ's corner, it was just that CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin managed to reach the ball for a save. White StarZ's Blas Armando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abel Velasco, made in the 17th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Bertol got free with Cãlin Damaschin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Mircea Berceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. White StarZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Berceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cãlin Damaschin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the game, Fausto Bertol lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cãlin Damaschin. Cãlin Damaschin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mircea Berceanu's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute Mircea Berceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Maldini kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Bertol was the one to do the kick off. Gonçalo Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moreno Martins in the 51st minute. Liu Sen Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gonçalo Vides. In the 74th minute CERRO PORTEÑO were awarded a corner. Edgar Kensicki went to the cornerflag to take it. When Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Herkko Viitaluoma threw the ball into play from the sideline. CERRO PORTEÑO's 叶德光 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 87 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Herkko Viitaluoma came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
