Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Cordario started the match with the kick off. Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaan Winter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Szekeres in the 9th minute of play. Velez Sarsfield's Ando Averin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stellan Josefsson in the 10 minute of the game. After having played for 14 minutes, Reinhold Artmaier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STORM CORNER F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinhold Artmaier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Stellan Josefsson in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Velez Sarsfield's Javier Pinola. Augusto Cordario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Kaan Winter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ando Averin to maneuver through the defense. Erwin Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Szekeres, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Bartolo Ferdinand threw the ball into play from the sideline. Velez Sarsfield's Javier Pinola quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Erwin Huygens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Szekeres in the 25th minute of the match. When STORM CORNER F.C.'s György Szekeres in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erwin Huygens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Szekeres in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when György Szekeres came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Stellan Josefsson with Krisztián Lisztes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kaan Winter came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario. But to his dismay, Augusto Cordario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Erwin Huygens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Szekeres in the 36th minute of play. Kaan Winter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 41st minute of play. When STORM CORNER F.C.'s György Szekeres in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez Sarsfield's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Kaan Winter got control of the ball when Augusto Cordario tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, György Szekeres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when György Szekeres made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Erwin Huygens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Erwin Huygens made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ionuț Jităreanu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Jităreanu in the 58th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stellan Josefsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Erwin Huygens made a huge save. When Augusto Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Cordario couldn't finish the play. Velez Sarsfield's Leandro Berti was substituted for Ignacio Berenguer. 69 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Szász came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erwin Huygens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Lisztes in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ede Szász in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Huygens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bartolo Ferdinand hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Richard Rodrigues replaced Raul Argoitz. In the 78th minute, Bartolo Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bala Veloz in the 82nd minute of play. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Ago Tramp replaced Filomeno Montrell. After 84 minutes Velez Sarsfield's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ionuț Jităreanu who took care of the corner kick. In the 86th minute Reinhold Artmaier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Krisztián Lisztes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the STORM CORNER F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krisztián Lisztes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of STORM CORNER F.C. booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Ávila didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ionuț Jităreanu in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 93rd minute Ede Szász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Szász came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. STORM CORNER F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
