The supporters of Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato booed when C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Almkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xzaiver Lorenzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Almkvist in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Christian Almkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zuzen Arroniz was the one to do the kick off. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Agosta in the 53rd minute of play. When Parisi Biniambres fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's protests and gave Parisi Biniambres a yellow card for diving instead. But to his dismay, Christian Almkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 73rd minute, Alessandro Del Piero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xzaiver Lorenzo. The goal made the score 0-4. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gervasio Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Xzaiver Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Alessandro Del Piero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Xzaiver Lorenzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Cagua Vilarrubia in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alvar Llinares. In the 84thth minute of the game Alessandro Del Piero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Xzaiver Lorenzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Diagur got free with Xzaiver Lorenzo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Roman in the 89th minute. The C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
