Steffen Gimlinge started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Marios Rouggeris in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s Şükrü Yavuzcan. If Eustaquio Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ were awarded a corner. Yu Chang Ping went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Yu Chang Ping almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere did a great save. The attack was good, but when Steffen Gimlinge in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 16 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's Steffen Gimlinge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimosthenis Doukatelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquinhos Toscano. With a little luck, Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Feliks Penc tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Yu Chang Ping got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnoud de Pelsmakere quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Penc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Søderberg in the 34th minute of play. Nykteus Michael made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Universidad Nacional's Isaac Ignazio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliks Penc got free with Arnoud de Pelsmakere in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Søderberg came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Steffen Gimlinge made a precise shot to the right of Dimosthenis Doukatelis. ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Gimlinge came free, but Dimosthenis Doukatelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Universidad Nacional getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Eustaquio Mede hit a great ball. After the first half Club Universidad Nacional were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimmy Søderberg was the one to do the kick off. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Penc in the 52nd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Søderberg came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Silvanito came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steffen Gimlinge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Dimosthenis Doukatelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dimosthenis Doukatelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Ignazio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Club Universidad Nacional's Feliciano Frans was substituted for Steffen Gimlinge. ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s Dimosthenis Doukatelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Feliks Penc made a precise shot to the right of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Club Universidad Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Club Universidad Nacional's Gerardo Nesto was substituted for Angel Morales. If Feliciano Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimosthenis Doukatelis came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Universidad Nacional's Feliciano Frans. But to his dismay, Feliciano Frans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Club Universidad Nacional played a much better game than ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ and deserved their victory. The ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
