Egil Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorben Grill in the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Cascajares in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Kilberg saved Original Sabahan from getting behind. Váldson de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Kilberg having to make a save. Egil Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 15th minute of play. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorben Grill in the 21st minute of play. Thorben Grill took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egil Kilberg. Egil Kilberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gustaw Tylenda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Original Sabahan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristide Mirciulescu in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Emilio Cascajares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Original Sabahan's zone, Emilio Cascajares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Kilberg came out of the goal and Emilio Cascajares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Gustaw Tylenda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but October 04's Eskil Vester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eskil Vester made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gustaw Tylenda sent off a good shot on target. Sabahattin Sanih hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Claudinei Custódio's late challenge caught a Original Sabahan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaw Tylenda to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Tylenda in the 51st minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Mirciulescu in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Thorben Grill managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorben Grill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Kilberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eskil Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Tylenda, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. October 04's Eskil Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Tylenda in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Original Sabahan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabahattin Sanih to maneuver through the defense. Dewa Kooth kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Original Sabahan made a substitution. Yahya Kılıçaslan replaced Gustaw Tylenda. Dewa Kooth hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Eskil Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Kılıçaslan in the 84th minute of play. If Yahya Kılıçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the October 04 defense, Yahya Kılıçaslan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eskil Vester. The October 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eskil Vester should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Yahya Kılıçaslan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Original Sabahan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
