Özer Şikel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Vieri came free, but Özer Şikel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christian Vieri came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Green Hell F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Vieri couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Christian Vieri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Hell F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 35 minutes of play, Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özer Şikel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Christian Vieri put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Özer Şikel. After the first half Green Hell F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Vieri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Christian Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özer Şikel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's goalkeeper Özer Şikel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
