Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when John-Arne Riise made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Demirci came free, but Dirch Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci to fire away a dangerous shot which Dirch Glerum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ömer Demirci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hønning's Dirch Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Demirci in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Demirci in the 17th minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Demirci in the 20th minute of the match. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Arne Riise, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If John-Arne Riise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dirch Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Demirci in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute KOCAELİSPOR were awarded a corner. Peng Yang Guang went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Peng Yang Guang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hønning's Dirch Glerum did a great save. The supporters of Hønning booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Ünlü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ömer Demirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dirch Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Ilie Zbârnea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Demirci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Demirci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ömer Demirci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dirch Glerum was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. KOCAELİSPOR were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Hønning's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peng Yang Guang took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Baba Yorgun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dirch Glerum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aşır Zabit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dirch Glerum having to make a save. Önder Ünlü hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hønning's goalkeeper Dirch Glerum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Zabit in the 80th minute of the match. Hønning's John-Arne Riise got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Arne Riise in the 87th minute of play. Peng Yang Guang kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Baba Yorgun. When John-Arne Riise came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-Arne Riise couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of KOCAELİSPOR were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Hønning side.
