The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Sandoval got free with Lonnie Hurley in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Mulky Kuswandi. 9 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Sandoval came free, but Lonnie Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Key Biscayne FC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Clube do Remo MZ's Baal Grunberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Wachirapong Wattanachinda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hogue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Mandrak in the 22nd minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hogue in the 26th minute of play. Lonnie Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Key Biscayne FC's Primus Listiyantoro got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Clube do Remo MZ's Baal Grunberg in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Key Biscayne FC's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hogue came free, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiaguinho Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Clube do Remo MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Mandrak couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiaguinho Mandrak to make the kick off. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Grunberg in the 56th minute of play. Tiaguinho Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lonnie Hurley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clube do Remo MZ's Tiaguinho Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Genaro Knutson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lonnie Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Grunberg in the 66th minute of play. Lonnie Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Mandrak in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Key Biscayne FC's Ali Hogue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baal Grunberg in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lonnie Hurley saved Key Biscayne FC from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Mandrak notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley. Lonnie Hurley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Sandoval had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lonnie Hurley. Key Biscayne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Sandoval was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Grunberg in the 87th minute of play. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges Collard in the 88th minute of play. Genaro Knutson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Baal Grunberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lonnie Hurley. Key Biscayne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baal Grunberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube do Remo MZ fully deserved thier win.
