Elton John came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Finninge Fotboll's Andrew Baller. But to his dismay, Andrew Baller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Finninge Fotboll's Gabriel Avădanei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Theodor Heiberg, made in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Baller in the 8th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Elton John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andrew Baller came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Finninge Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Baller couldn't finish the play. Andrew Baller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elton John having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Baller came free, but Elton John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrew Baller scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elton John, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 27th minute, but Elton John got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cheeky Nuts United hanging dry this time. Andrew Baller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Elton John made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Andrew Baller made a precise shot to the right of Elton John. Cheeky Nuts United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Andrew Baller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elton John. Cheeky Nuts United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Baller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 43 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Baller came free, but Elton John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Finninge Fotboll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henning Kempf in the 45th minute. Finninge Fotboll's Henning Kempf was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elton John in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Doctor Potass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheeky Nuts United made a substitution. Renaud Wiggers replaced Lukas Grønnestad. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon-Erik Vedøy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jon-Erik Vedøy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Finninge Fotboll's Andrew Baller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elton John made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 66 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Baller came free, but Elton John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Tveito charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Tveito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Tveito hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Cheeky Nuts United made a substitution. Birger Øvstebø replaced Sebastian Ramberg. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Tveito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Tveitos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Åke Magnusson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Cheeky Nuts United's Hans Valen got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Henning Kempf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Finninge Fotboll's Åke Magnusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Finninge Fotboll from getting a goal against them. Andrew Baller took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elton John. Elton John dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The throw-in from Theodor Heiberg in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Finninge Fotboll's Gabriel Avădanei. Elton John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Baller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes Finninge Fotboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Tveito who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jon-Erik Vedøy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Finninge Fotboll's Åke Magnusson did a great save. 95 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's Andrew Baller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elton John narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cheeky Nuts United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
