Baltasar Matias came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta. But to his dismay, Válbson Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Hafız Öztekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney Motta was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Pimenta came free, but Baltasar Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersan Ergüleç, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafa Marques who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lopes got free with Sidney Motta in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Pellecchia came free, but Sidney Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta got control of the ball when Fabrício Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute VB-Team were awarded a corner. Hafız Öztekin went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hafız Öztekin hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válbson Pimenta in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Matias saved VB-Team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrício Lopes made a kick off. Rolando Gaspard kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes, VB-Team's Hafız Öztekin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sidney Motta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VB-Team reached it. Válbson Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Baltasar Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Pedro Luís Fonseca hit a great ball. Válbson Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Baltasar Matias made a huge save. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett was substituted for Ersan Ergüleç. Sidney Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lopes in the 69th minute of play. Baltasar Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafa Marques ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Imbituba - FSCMZ's corner Rafa Marques fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baltasar Matias quite easily take care of the ball. In the 77th minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Nathaniel Burnett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Ademar de Mendonça replaced Armandinho Loyola. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 96 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafa Marques who took care of the corner kick. Chants of Imbituba - FSCMZ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as VB-Team had held the ball for most of the match.
