A collision led to YELLOW FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Giannis Kourelas hit a great ball. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bent Streyder got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomáš Řehák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Nordlet having to make a save. Vaggelis Lalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loke Skaanild in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match, Bent Streyder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vaggelis Lalas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanasis Robos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Nordlet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Řehák, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Konrad Reumert got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Robos in the 24th minute of play. Loke Skaanild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evripidis Zoubadellis in the 33rd minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evripidis Zoubadellis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the YELLOW FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evripidis Zoubadellis couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's Tomáš Řehák sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristan Nordlet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Evripidis Zoubadellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Nordlet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bent Streyder was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avraam Sevastopoulos got free with Tristan Nordlet in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 56th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Tristan Nordlet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bent Streyder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vaggelis Lalas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. YELLOW FC's Eutichios Panagakos was substituted for Tomáš Řehák. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Claes Katsir was substituted for Halvor Gurre. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Ulf Pilshøj was substituted for Loke Skaanild. In the 68th minute of the match Holmkjar Hotspurs got a corner. YELLOW FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ove Makenhauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ove Makenhauer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vaggelis Lalas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vaggelis Lalas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Makenhauer's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Molnit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vaggelis Lalas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kalle Molnit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Avraam Sevastopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Molnit in the 87th minute of play. Vaggelis Lalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Molnit in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in YELLOW FC's zone, Ruddi Berendsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Lalas came out of the goal and Ruddi Berendsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the YELLOW FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Holmkjar Hotspurs.
