In the 27th minute, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carl Engström. Carl Engström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Carl Engström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriele Batistuta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. If Vincent Benett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel Oakley in the 40th minute of play. Jens Back kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carl Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Mark Brovall hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Surahammar's Folke Skröder was substituted for Vincent Benett. Surahammar made a substitution. Victor Santxol replaced Radamel Oakley. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Mark Brovall got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 64th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Carl Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Surahammar booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Victor Santxol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Salvidor was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Victor Santxol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal and Victor Santxol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Pilarski in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Santxol. Siro Osasun made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mayer Candelo. Victor Santxol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Camilo Salvidor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriele Batistuta in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Engström saved Surahammar from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Santxol in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Santxol. Victor Santxol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Victor Santxol came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Salvidor could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Menchu FC had won after a very even match.
