The corner ended in Mehmet Şefik Karadağ almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Sportivo Italiano's Arturo Ardines did a great save. In the 19th minute, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Club Sportivo Italiano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Sven-Olof Vestlund scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Ardines, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Masao Koriotto in the 26th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Artemio Francesco got a free kick in the 27th minute. Joar Scheie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Rayman's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Artemio Francesco in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAN ERZURUM's Hüsrev Özyay. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Wilhelm Steinitz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Arturo Ardines stood somewhat misplaced when Sven-Olof Vestlund came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Sven-Olof Vestlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Olof Vestlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Ardines came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Olof Vestlund slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 41st minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Rayman to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Ardines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Mehmet Şefik Karadağ got a free kick in the 56th minute. Arturo Ardines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 63rd minute of the match. CAN ERZURUM's Latif Baltacı was substituted for Hüsrev Özyay. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Sportivo Italiano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baba Popescu was slow to take the kick. During this time CAN ERZURUM's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Vestlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Ardines was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
