In the 31st minute Jiang Chong Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Flamenco United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ion Dorlea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led LIVERPOOL FC's Claudio Busillo to a score. 0-1 in the 33rd minute. Ye Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Corlățean in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes LIVERPOOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Nazzaro. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bircan Serdar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Qian Ying Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Hauwaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ye Zheng made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Aurel Corlățean sent off a good shot on target. Ye Zheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Corlățean went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Flamenco United's Ye Zheng got control of the ball when Aurel Corlățean tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flamenco United's Ye Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Chong Yuan in the 67th minute of play. Flamenco United's Ye Zheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Flamenco United from getting a goal against them. In the 70th match minute, LIVERPOOL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Rada to maneuver through the defense. LIVERPOOL FC's Mihnea Iosub was substituted for Jiang Chong Yuan. Liviu Rada hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Qian Ying Lang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bircan Serdar's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Yanick Schautens was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Flamenco United's Ye Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Corlățean in the 77th minute of play. Aurel Corlățean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Ye Zheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tran Hauwaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihnea Iosub hit a great ball. With a little luck, Flamenco United's Ye Zheng got control of the ball when Aurel Corlățean tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LIVERPOOL FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
