In the 4th minute Tommy Boylin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Tommy Boylin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Boylin in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 15th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SoS FC's attentive Melker Forss managed to snatch the ball when Marc Hainl made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Boylin in the 20th minute of the match. Ahmet Refik Ülgü was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 24th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Erik Larsson. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. After 41 minutes, Marek Jaraczewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SoS FC and the FC CSKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Jaraczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ahmet Refik Ülgü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ahmet Refik Ülgü made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SoS FC booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. SoS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Refik Ülgü was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. SoS FC made a substitution. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
