Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Xacintu started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Brugge United booed when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aigar Ojaperv didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Percy da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brugge United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Van Impe in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atak Üke saved 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB from getting behind. Atak Üke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Maksim Rilski charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksim Rilski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Maksim Rilski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Göktuğ Demir tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Kadri Aksoy came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Kadri Aksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's İbrahim Kerdiğe got a free kick in the 38th minute. Atak Üke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 41st minute of play. Vítor Baia made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ferhan Saik sent off a good shot on target. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brugge United were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Xacintu in the 64th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's İskender Baki Üstüner was substituted for Vincent Kompany. A collision led to 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Göktuğ Demir hit a great ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Guido Vissenaeken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Atak Üke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Vissenaeken got free with Atak Üke in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
