Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mauro Boselli kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Boselli came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4thth minute of the game Silverio Francho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brugge United's Vítor Baia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Biraga in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Boselli in the 9th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. Brugge United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Séamus Babasidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Vissenaeken got free with Ismael Vellito in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor Baia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Mauro Boselli. But to his dismay, Mauro Boselli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Mikolaj Biraga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brugge United's Vítor Baia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 29th minute of play. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooks Willison, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Brooks Willison scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Baia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Ismael Vellito managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th match minute, Shuspendemo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Séamus Babasidis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito got control of the ball when Jaspar Van Den Broeck tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Vissenaeken was the one to do the kick off. Arnauld Van Impe might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Vellito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnauld Van Impe ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Shuspendemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Ihazintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Gaspar Ihazintu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 76th minute of play. Brugge United were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Shuspendemo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maksim Rilski took the corner. 84 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Kepa came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Gerber.
